The Icarus Project .net

I honestly don't have time to figure out what this is all about right now, but it was recommended to me by a wild-eyed fellow patient on the porch at the Aztec, who suggested that we start a local chapter of this organization dedicated to "radical mental health," whatever the hell that means. Something tells me I'd end up hospitalized again - but at least I'd have friends on that med vacation....

Gregory,
I'm not suggesting we all revisit the psych ward, but we live in a town without mental health promotoras, and very little information regarding safe alternatives to supporting "Big Pharm". The DBSA group itself is supported by and promotes the drug industry, I'll skip the politics for now.
See you on the patio, with my wild eyes.

I would utterly disagree with that. we live in a town filled with know-nothing freaks who are afraid of anything that looks corporate - unless it's their brand new SUV. There's nothing WRONG with promoting the drug industry if the drugs actually work. I really LIKE Lexapro, thanks for asking - perhaps you'd like to chase away the winter blues armed with nothing but St. John's Wort from the vastly UNREGULATED supplementals industry? Thanks, but I'll take my chances with the FDA-approved stuff.
